There was a theory (regarded as fact, I think) however many hundred years ago that bodily fluids could only be created by the body, but it was disproved when a scientist (I think German) created Uric Acid in a lab setting... what was it? Wiki page, anyone? I don't know what to search for

Wohler (except with an umlaut over the o).

It was urea.
