I've always found that if I can't get at least three hours of sleep, it's not really worth it. In your situation, I'd sleep on the plane, and then crash when you get where you're going. 14 hours isn't very long to go without sleep... 24 is a bit worse (for me, hour 20 always bites, too), but it's still not going to hurt you.
For resetting your clock in general, just don't think about it... just do what you normally do and you should fall back into the routine after a bit. Eat foods that aren't very sugary or highly caffeinated, and exercise during the day will help, too.

i might sleep for the 5 hours, because of the fact some sleep is lots extra useful than none. 5 hours will a minimum of show you how to bypass into your restorative sleep state some situations, and additionally you will experience a lot extra useful after a sprint relax than in case you merely stay wakeful. Then, bypass to mattress at your usual time the next day.

well i did that too except i went to bed at three and i wake up at like 2:00 pm or 1:00 in the afternoon. Its hard to change it backunless u wake urself up one day at like 8 and then go to bed early. just keep yourself awake or take a short nap try to sleep on the plane if your flying...if ur picking someone up then just wait until you get home to sleep...im sorry you have waited that long? how did it happen. I have the SAME problem. "/ It sucks. I go to bed @ 6am..and wake up around 9am.
