your alternator belt is loose. this will not cost a lot to get fixed. the alternator charges your battery while your driving but whenever you accellerate the belt will slip until it grips enough to keep charging your battery .you wont suddenly break down, but you may find your battery is too flat to start your car.

Don`t know the car, but like a few others said, it`s a belt problem. Get it adjusted or replaced ASAP. to avoid breaking down. More info on the make and model would help . But a good chance it`s your alternator belt. Drive safe

Check your belt. If your car is reasonably new it probably has a serpentine belt. Older cars have V-belts, up to 3 of them. If you have V-belts check the one that runs your alternator. It may be worn or simply need to be tightened.
If you have a serpentine belt it probably needs to be replaced. If you don't know how to replace it find a friend who does know and have them check it for you and replace it if necessary.

Your alternator belt is slipping. It could be tightened, but you should replace it. It is pretty cheap.
