I used to mind 2 children and they called the father by his first name (which totally threw me off for the first week) and their mother by either her first name or noni? The little boy was 3, and his little sister just turned 1 and she wasn't saying much of anything yet.
Very interesting, it made me feel sad that he called them by first or a nickname. The parents didn't care though. I just felt it was so impersonal, and almost formal. Also made me think that the parents allowed the children to be more like a spouse (other reasons at home besides name) than a child. Very interesting dynamic.
Great question!

Wow you are blessed that shes talking already!! She tried to call you by ur first name because everyone else calls you that. Maybe you should have people call you Mamma for a little while so she gets the difference. I know its silly but it worked for my sister

When my son was 1 1/2 he started calling his daddy and me by our first names. The way we solved it was to start calling each Mommy & Daddy. I hated to start that because my husband isn't my Daddy, now we just do it out of habit. He is 6 years old.

My oldest son always called me Momma when he was little. My youngest son used to call me Mum Mum when he first started to learn how to say Mommy.
Now both of my sons, both teenagers, just call me Mom.
It's normal for a baby, particularly your dau's age to "mimick" your name, especially if she's hearing other people in the household referring to you by your name. At your dau's age, they're little sponges, absorbing everything around them.
What I always did when adults were in the room with my sons, if they spoke to me, I'd have them refer to me as "Mommy" or "your Mommy"... I found this helped my sons to call me by my correct title for them. As they grew up, they knew what my name was, but never called me by it.
