Your periods will take time to regulate. If in, say, 6 months, you are still having the same problem, you need to go see an endocrinologist for testing. The endocrinologist will be able to pinpoint whether your ovaries are overproducing, thus stimulating your body to have an extra period each month, and suggest treatment, possibly birth control pills, to get your periods to regulate pharmacologically.

First, how old are you. Second, how old were you when you started menstruating? Third, how many months has it been happening.
If you start on the 15th of every month and it lasts a week (5-7 days?) , then it starts on the 20th of the month? The math doesn't add up.
Regardless, many women have irregular periods. Doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. If you are bleeding heavily, like saturating a pad/tampon an hour, that could be a problem.
Sounds like its time to visit your OB/GYN. There are ways to regulate your periods.

With being new to periods it is very common for them to be irregular and for some that can include having the period two times in a month for a time before things settle down.
I would also recommend checking with your doctor when you have your next check up to see what they say.

Wait a few more months and see what happens. That's pretty normal if you haven't been getting your period for more than a couple of years.
