i will say them in steps:
1.i have an internet dsl connection
2.i have two computers
3.i want to set one computer to receive the internet from the other without cables(wireless).
4.how can i do that and what exactly do i need?
please if you can explain and give me some of your time..thanks.

if you can plug just one computer to your modem, you are going to need a wireless modem or a router, call dsl and order a wireless modem or go to circuit city and buy a router. Once again call dsl, they are going to help you configure your router. Have a nice day.

Someone else will answer you who has more experience. I just wanted to let you know that my DSL connection allows me to connect more than one computer to the network; you may want to check and see if yours allows this too, it may be easier to set up that way.
I know you need a wireless router but that is about all I know.
