This is my take. I am a university professor on the West Coast. When I originally read your question, my thought was that I had heard of Webster somewhere, and not of Lindenwood, but then I went online.
Lindenwood sounds very much like a legitimate liberal arts university. They talk about their accreditation, their mission, and everything else you would expect to see on the website of a decent university. I looked at the faculty in my own discipline, and information was given on their backgrounds; they graduated from good universities with Ph.D.s.
Webster, on the other hand, seems to be focusing on how many people they put through their programs and how fast they do it. Frankly, any time a university focuses on offering "accelerated" programs, they are missing the boat and pandering to those who don't understand what an education is all about. Nothing is mentioned about accreditation. I found listings of "rankings", and most of the things on the lists aren't, in fact, rankings at all, and where the things listed are rankings, they don't mention whose ranking they are talking about. I looked up faculty, and there is absolutely no mention of their qualifications. In short, it all sounds rather fishy to me.
I do realize that websites can be deceptive, but based on my reading, I would encourage you to look more seriously at Lindenwood.
