Movies and tv shows that didn't try to make some huge point, or teach a lesson, or do anything other than entertain.
All-male rock bands.
Not being made to feel guilty if you wanted to scarf down a juicy tripple cheeseburger in public.
On the other hand, it wasn't all good. You had to walk 10 miles to school, uphill both ways, in knee-deep snow, carrying your younger brother on your back.

Dead friends. My innocence. The way We were all less consumed with 'Self' and more into 'Us', and the music during the Vietnam era 'spoke' to each of Us: "We've Got To Get Out Of This Place, If It's The Last Thing We Ever Do......" Some of Us did, others are still trying.

*sigh* The good ol' days .....
Things were made to last.
A man's good word and handshake were all you needed.
90% of marriages were forever.
I could buy a pop for .15c and a bag of chips for .10c (lol ... yeah, I'm THAT old)
You could make out what the rock singer was saying ... and it was never degrating to certain people, nor was profanity allowed to be in the lyrics.
I could go on forever here .... *sigh*, I miss those days. :(
