Okay I am probably being a bit closed minded on this, but...

If Harry Potter could not even be killed as a little baby, just sitting there defenceless, how can Voldemort even try to kill him now, as Harry now actually can actually perform magic. And I am not really buying that Harry survived because his mother threw her arms around him.

Thank you.

why shd u think voldemort could defeat harry???

harry was saved by his mother's love. Evil plans like dat of voldemort are always slave to pure things of life like love and friendship.

So no matter watever can happen, voldemort can never defeat harry..

MIND U.. THERE R NUMEROUS BOOKS OF THE DEATHLY HALLOWS IN THE MARKET , WRITTEN BY FAKE AUTHORS. SO DO NOT TRY GETTING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING ELSE AND DON'T BELEIVE WHATEVER IN IT IS THE TRUTH.

Harry's mother was given the choice to stand aside and Let Voldemort kill him or be killed herself. She chose death and in doing so assured both that Harry would survive and the the prophecy of Voldemort marking Harry as his equal would come true. Because of her sacrifice at that time, the killing curse backfired. Now, however, the sacrifice only impues Harry with a power Voldemort doesn't have but it does not insure Voldemort can't kill him.

The reason Harry didn't die when he was a baby was because Lily had a choice to either step aside so Voldemort could kill Harry or to protect her son, which would result in death. She chose death. Because of Harry's mother's love, which Voldemort did not have, Harry survived. Everyone else that was killed by Voldemort did not have a choice of whether or not to sacrifice themselves or not so that is why no one survived Voldemort.

He survived because of the "power of love" -- he used it in the fourth book aswell at the grave yard. But I don't reckon he'll be killed there will be too many disappointed fans and if J'K' Rowling ever wanted to an extra book or two she'd have to have Harry

you're obviously not a true potter fan. read the story clearly. harry didn't die when he was a baby because of love. someone so evil as lord voldemort cannot touch something so pure.
