I'm on Day 12 and not seeing EWCM yet (only getting watery to creamy CM). I usually ovulate on Day 14 or 15.

I know I should start babying making soon, but can sperm live long enough? Or should I wait until I have EWCM?

Sperm can actually live up to 5 days in the right kind of mucus, sometimes you don't even know you have the right mucus because it hasn't descended from the cervix yet, but it is just enough to keep them going.

Watery mucus is good! Sometimes you can produce so much EWCM that it gets heavy in volume and shows itself as very watery. Sort of like when you have a cold: when you start you have lots of stretchy nasal mucus (sorry to be gross) but then when you really get the cold your nose will just drip, the nasal mucus won't stretch as much anymore but there is tons of it. Cervical mucus can be the same. So it may be that you are very fertile right now. I would have sex every other day until the cervical mucus dries up or at least through day 18 just to make sure you haven't ovulated late this time around. GOOD LUCK! I hope you get your +++ soon!

Sperm lives inside you for a couple of days when there's no EWCM, reason being is that the vaginal environment is very hostile to those little guys. But if you're due to ovulate in a couple of days, go ahead and start trying... there's no hard fast rule with Mother Nature anyway.

Have sex Day 12-16. Good luck!!

Sperm can live up to 2 to 3 days inside the vagina

go ahead and have sex now and every other day thru your ovulation time. Every day sex depletes the sperm volume.
