Eyeliner help PLEASEEE?

Question

i need help...im about 15 and i don't know how to apply eyeliner correctly...
oh and i perfer pencil eyeliner for the softer look

well to start, you would have to choose a good eyeliner. i would recommend Prestige's waterproof pencil liner. from experience, it's the best i've used so far, it doesn't smudge as easily and can stay on for hours.

for the top of your eyes, you would want to take a finer and place it on your top lid and kind of stretch it up while closing your eyes. take the pencil and trace along the top, however thick or thin you want it!

the bottom is a bit simpler: find yoru waterline, or the part of your eye either on or above your lower lashes, and trace it. this is another reason why prestige's waterproof liner is great because your water line is as it sounds. if you had your top lined too, you would want to connect them at the edge of your eye away from your nose.

Make sure that you don't draw the line all the way to the inner corner of your eye as it will make your eyes look smaller and tired. Start the line about a quarter of the way along your eye and take it to the outer edge. You can then flick it up for a more dramatic look, but if you want a natural look simply end it with a thin edge at the outer corner.

As said above, practice does make perfect. Get some pictures from magazines of eye make-up that you like and spend a some time trying to copy it.

I would start with a pencil that is NOT really sharp. Then I would get a hand held mirror and place it facing u at an angle almost perpendicular to your face.

Tilt your head slightly backwards and Then look down...you should be able to see your lash line.

Use the eye pencil, starting on the inside corner of your eye and line towards the outside. (use light, feathering strokes while trying to use your lashes to balance the brush-don't try to do it all in one stroke if you're not use to lining your eyes. Eventually you'll do it well enough to line it once across.)

Viola....you're done!

If you make a small mistake...don't worry...use a smudger to fix it by blending it outward.

Umm honestly all i can tell ya is practice makes perfect. I mean it took me awhile to figure out how to apply eyeliner the way i wanted it...so all you have to do is practice..wipe it off..and do it again & again until you have a steady technique that you like.

All you have to do is pull your bottom eyelid down then take your eyeliner and gently smooth it across your bottom eyelid. Hope that helps! Melissa.
