I am not a gamer the main purpose for this machine is for 3d modeling and rendering. Running Maya 8.5. Not really concerned about overclocking. Installing fireglv 7350. What I am really wondering is it worth the extra $150 for gigabyte board ?

well if your just gona b using it for not gaming then i guess the extra 150 is not worth it

Well the it seem like your spending your money wrong then. As for what your stating this MOBO'S are not for you. The Fox was made for gaming with dual video card option . The GIBABYTE ones is gaming but with many over clocking options. I would spend the $ on a good video card n go for a lower Mother Board:

I know that this is made for gaming but the only reason I choose this is cause it can run upto 16 gb of ram.
