15 GB I would use an external hard drive.....that's alot of data and it would be very tedious to burn it all to CDs or DVDs

I would use dvd+r to do backups but only the top of the line blanks like this:http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=R&Product_Code=1736-100&Category_Code=TAIYOYUDEN

Will last a long time and can be put away any ware. HDD are good but you got to remember that they are mechanical and if not use enough they can go bad. Connecting the wrong power cord that look the same could burn them. If you drop the xHDD that could be the end of that HDD.

Online would really be best since even if your house burns down it would still be there. However, it would probably be impractical because you simply couldn't transfer the data to in quickly enough. So, a HDD is probably best. If you are really paranoid, you could leave it at your office or something while not transferring data to it.

External Hard can crash. DVD-Ram disc can break or get scratched. Online back, seems to be a smart move. Unless of course the company goes belly-up. I would still burn to DVD and care for it like they were you little babies.

Use 4 DVDs. That is the best method since you can easily store it in a safe place

An External by far, that way you don't have to worry about someone else loosing your stuff.
