Terrible smell in the study room?

I bought the house a month ago. When I moved in, there was no smell in the house. About a week a go, the house started having a smell and getting stronger day by day. We just knew that the smell comes from the study room. Because when we close the room, the rest of the house doesn't have that smell. About 2 days ago, I saw some small brown eggs on the carpet, and today I saw about 15 eggs. The eggs seem to come from under the carpet. I checked outside the window of the room, there is nothing. Does anyone know what is happenning with my house? What kind of bug is it? Or is there any dead animal under the carpet? Thanks

I'm not sure those are eggs or mold spores, but i'm sure they are not mushrooms. Those "eggs" come from under carpet for sure, not from the ceiling, because some "eggs" fully stretched out on the carpet, some not and I had to use a toothpick to pick them up.
I'm living in Houston, TX. I called ABC Pest already. Somebody will come to my house and check them out this Friday.

Any other suggestion!?

EEEWWHHH!!!! This sounds really nasty. First of all I would make sure this room is closed off completely until you find the source. Check the ceiling in this room to make sure the eggs aren't comming from there. How large are these eggs and where you live are also very important. It would help if you stated this info. I would buy one of those bug bombs foggers. Get the ones that say fogger on them not mist. The fog seeps into crevices and cracks and also into carpets. Whatever it is I believe it isn't dead or it wouldn't be able to leave more of whatever it is you found. Or just call an exterminator for advice.

Are you sure they're eggs? It could be mold spores or small mushrooms, especially if the smell is coming from near a window. If there's a crack in the wall or a leak somewhere around the window, you could be getting rain water leaking in. That would definitely account for the smell.

Pull up the carpet and see what it is.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about buying a home or what your options are for recovering repair costs.

I would hire someone to find out what it is...It could be very dangerous. For now you could try some stuff called "odo ban" I know it is sold at Sam's club, but I'm sure you could find it other places. It worked when we moved into our house. We weren't aware that there were kitties here before us. We didn't smell it until after we bought the house. Of course later we got the carpets cleaned, but that should work until you can get it checked out!

I have NO idea what kind of bugs you might have. The smell is probably from some animal that died -- it will take about 6 weeks for the smell to go away!

Call an exterminator -- you REALLY need one! Good luck.
