The Spanish excuse was they were bringing God.
The French were bringing culture.
The British said they were bringing good government.
The Japanese said they would bring prosperity.
Today everyone can see the truth about those empires.

But today America is in Iraq, saying it will bring freedom.
Why are so many blind to this empire?

Iraq was seen as a threat to the US? What a joke! If you were worried about WMD, why not LOOK for them!

It is not hard at all. For the USA is easier than ever; they have the powerful corporate media to do the job promptly.
Since 2001 it has become obvious to even the most dull that America is an empire. We have been an empire for sometime, but previous administrations were shy or not too proud of it. Bush on the other hand is blunt, ferocious and crude, and republican organizations even brag about it.

The procedure, insurance policies, or practices of the sort of govt. Of path we're, economically, however now not territorially. We also are imperialist in phrases of values. Thank goodness we're. There are dozens of countries that could just like the USA to be much less positive, pull again on trade, and allow them to compete, however the concept that we will have to handicap ourselves to be reasonable in an worldwide atmosphere wherein equity is approximately is a long way from the minds of our rivals as giving their possess persons freedom of speech is is simply foolish. How hard is it for a poor nation to come up with an excuse for what it does to soveriegn nations?
Terrorists hide behind the radical mantra of a hate filled religion and claim that they are doing the work of god. They do not even care for their own people. terrorists hide among shool children and innocents and select targets that will insure the most death and destruction.
The way your question is phrased almost makes me believe you are trying to garner sympathy for the enemy. The terrorists killed over 3.000 of our citizens and have managed to kill over 1,000 of our soldiers. And even if we did not foind huge amounts of WMD, the terrorists have swarmed Iraq and made it the home field. Iraq is where the terrorists are in mass and that is where the war is being fought. The civilian deaths are due to terrorism and are doing just what they were designed to due - gain the sympathy of libtards. The terrorists are killing their own and you are sitting here trying to put the blame on our military! You must have no shame!

What we do to poor nations? You mean like dump billions of dollars in foreign aid into them? Iraq did have and may still have WMD's. They used them on the Kurds of Northern Iraq. They had ample time to move their stockpile to Syria or bury them in the vast desert. The UN hounded them for what, 6-8 months before finally saving enough is enough. That's enough time to cover your tracks.

I assure you the main goal of the Iraq war was not to spread democracy. Iraq was seen as a threat to the USA and the rest of the world.
