I think his stance on terrorism would have done it, he has done a heck of alot more than any president ever has and probably will. It doesn't hurt to say that I am in a better position now (personally and financially) than when Clinton was president.

Bush's Christian values, lets see, what are those values? Anyone who wants to do their research would find that GW is far from a Christian. Anyone who would take the time to look at the history of the Bush family would soon realize that the Bush family worship the Bush Family. GW has a history of being an alcoholic and potentially using drugs as well. What exactly is the prosperity, would that be the multi wealthy who are now 4 times richer than previously while middle america struggles daily to put gas in their cars. Mobil Exxon and other companies have incredible profits in the past few years, enormous, now you tell me what is it that we are suppose to love. Or did someone in GW's office pay you to ask that question......if you are not appauled and outraged, you are not paying attention.
The Christians gained the Faith Based ability to receive federal funds and create 503 businesses.....could that be an financial incentive to support him, maybe you should ask the Christians what their agenda was to elect Mr. Bush...use your browser and look at the history of this family, the only people who prosper would be the very, very wealthy in America...which is not the majority....No Bush will ever be known as the best president in America.....should we just be happy that 3500 american men and women will not be coming home and over 25,000 have been wounded, may never have a normal life, what have we gained from this, and how many Iraqi people have died because we are in their country..based on Bush's honesty about our mission there, right. Since millions of americans have lost their jobs, over a million homes have been foreclosed this year and violent crime is controling american cities with multiple deaths daily, we can assume that GW is praying for us daily....Best president ever, right...?

My daughter is due to be born next month. She will inherit an economy that is producing reasonable growth figures but at the expense of increasing poverty, devaluing dollar and all paid for with money that her generation will have to pay back. That is not great prosperity.
She will inherit an Al Quaeda stronger than previously with more intent to hate and harm her for being an American.
She will inherit an America more divided than any I can remember.
She will inherit a savagely underfunded education system that sees some public schools with a higher proportion of students going to jail than college.
She will inherit a health system that will see her more likely to die before the age of 5 than if she had been born in any other developed country.
The legacy of George Bush is a disgrace.

It depends on who you ask. Corporate interest, war contractors, oil companies, and fear mongerers, those easily brainwashed, Alberto Gonzalez, Scooter Libby, and Osama Bin Laden all will agree with you. Those that make less than 6 figures (commonly known as varying levels of the middle class), peace activists, constitution supporters, The 9/11 commission, 78% of realistic Americans (based on a 22% approval rating), an ever increasing number of senior GOP leadership, Iraq's top generals, The UN, NATO, and what used to be called The Allied Forces, would disagree with you. But don't pull your head out of the sand on my account.

You are seriously in need of counselling.. Bush is the worst president this country has ever seen or Will see... if you still think he is so great... then you are one of the very few and I pity you.
Get a brain and think for yourself.. do not be fooled by his little grin and down home tactics
He is screwing you and this country.. I can only hope one day you will realize just how badly.

Lets see. He successfully lead the government to a record deficit, presided over a philosophy that lead to the first major attack on US soil in many years, lead us into two major wars, and is leading us into a renewed cold war, dropped environmental regulations, abandon arms treaties, found ways of ignoring habeas corpus counter to the constitution, pushed illegal wire tapping when a legal method was put together for him to use.
Basically, he will be remembered for many years as we try to clean up the mess that was made.

I would have to say George W. is NOT the best president we ever had... I would also have to say that he is about as honest as any other president we have had. His Christian Values(er)... gimme a break!
There have definatly been worse presidents in history...but not in my life time.

He's the worst president. And don't be surprised when taxes are raised when he's out of office, because he's sending the country into debt automatically by not raising taxes, and the next president is going to feel our wraths, just because our current president is a retard.

He isn't. Nor is he the worst. Give him credit for the current prosperity, but demerits for the stem cell research veto and meddling in the Schiavo case.
