at what week were u induced? and with what # child. and why?
im 35 weeks with # 4 and just wondering how soon some doctors will induce!!!!! i know they wont induce at 35 weeks unless there is need. but just wondering if any one has been induced early for no reson!!

Why do you want to be induced so early? My friend is a week past her due date and they still have not induced her.

Aww, don't rush it! Give your baby the time he or she needs to finish developing. I know it's frustrating and uncomfortable at the end, but trust God and nature. A few more weeks isn't much time for you, but it can make a big difference for your baby.
To answer your question, I was induced at 42 and 41 weeks, and only because my doctor refused to let me wait it out longer.
Another thing to remember is this - an early induction can mean a longer labor and delivery. The longer you wait, the more ripe your cervix is.

i was induced with baby #2 he was born on his due date. but u/s showed he had a distended bladder and had irregular heart rate on monitors. we were lucky he was born perfectly healthy, after all the tests they couldnt figure out what was causing it but being born was the cure. and im scheduled for induction with #3 on thursday i will be 40wks and 2 days. they are inducing because im small with history of big babys and really fast labor. hospital is 45 min away. good luck to you and a speedy delivery.

a responsible dr would not induce until atleast 38 weeks, unless there was a reason the baby would be safer out of the womb tha in it.

My doctor just finally told me today i can be induced on monday..ill be 39 weeks by then..he wouldnt settle for anything sooner then that, but trust me our babies need to grow, we need to give them all the time they need if there not ready to come. Good look with your baby!
