He comes home everyday to you?
He's good with your children?
He takes care of you?
If this is all you have to worry about, consider yourself a lucky woman.

All of us maintain a certain connection to our childhood, some more than others. Psychologists are quick to state that "we all have a child within us". Whatever.
The point is that some of us take far too much comfort in holding onto our childhood and it becomes detrimental to our adult relationships. Some of us have emotional blockages that keep us from moving forward in our life, and those may require some serious counseling and introspection to overcome.
I think men often use the "boys-will-be-boys" myth to justify inappropriate behaviors. And, I think women have a right to call them on it.
But, there's nothing wrong with being playful and fun and sometimes that comes from remembering the joys of childhood.

All the men I know are just kids. But so am I for that matter, so I don't think it is just men. But maybe women who have kids have to be more grown up, and since the woman generally take the lead in raising the children, they are the more "grown up" of the two parents.

Yes, I'll have to agree w/ you on that one! Mine never picks up after himself & is always asking me where his things are! I love my hubby too, but generally I wish mine was more that way! And I definitely wish he would play w/ the children more! He goes out to eat w/ them, watches tv w/ them & sometimes comes swimming w/ us, but that's about it! I'm sure we all want a little of what we don't have.

naw, I'm like that too!! I'm just a really big boy some times, and so are many men. But.... if your hubby wasnt like the way he is wouldnt your life be a little more boring? Think about it.

Essentially what you say is true.
My husband and brothers (all in their 30s with respectable jobs and college degrees) all like to shoot off fireworks still and build large bonfires on our yearly family float trip. They love getting the kids all riled up around bedtime and acting silly with them too--sometimes so much so that you forget who the kids really are. I love it!

ok I see now, properly daddy is working, the newborn is caught at domicile, listening to peer rigidity, and song. Then gang of little ones comes over making plans mischief on the meant newborn. Then hell breaks loose. you may understand being a single dad is a problematical interest. you may not watch little ones and artwork on an identical time.

Acutally my husband probably feels this way about me. He is much more mature and responsible than I am. Sometimes he tells me to grow up. It is ok though because if it weren't for him I would make a lot more stupid mistakes.
