I've always wanted to shine Dr. Phil's head

I like them both. I guess I am a bit of an odd duck, but I find logic in some of what Dr. Phil has to say. I have seen that he has helped people. He started from the same place you and I are, he earned his degree and he has taken his lumps to boot. I think he actually has some really important stuff to say and I like the way he conveys it. He has a 'willow-switch logic' that pretty well says it all. A lot of people don't like him because he is so blunt. Sometimes you have to be in order to reach people, though. Beating around the bush means you are trying to soften the blow. Dr. Phil believes in wake-up calls.
NOW, Dr. Who...Where to begin with him. Back when satellites were still very large I had the Sci-Fi channel. I was addicted to it. I enjoyed the concept of time travel and the space-time continuum drama. I enjoyed the cheesy special effects and I enjoyed the stunts. That blue Police Call-box, Tardis held more mysteries than Davey Jones locker ever did. LOL, NOW I know where I have seen Alec the Dalek. It has been so long. UNLIKE Dr. Phil, I actually have video taped episodes of Dr. Who. THOSE are worthy of watching time and again. I think I am going to see if my video machine is still running. Thanks for reminding me. *smile*

Neither do much for me...now if you had said Dr Mark Green or Dr John Carter we could discuss the merits of the earlier episodes of ER as compared to the past few seasons.
