Currently, my friend is in the hospital because of cancer, and he really loves the Harry Potter series. Now, I'm determined to give him the new Harry Potter and whatever it is called (I do not like the Harry Potter series that much), and I heard people saying that camping overnight for the book is pointless and that only people with reservations can get them at midnight.

now, i want to give the book to him soon, because, he just keeps getting sicker and sicker, and I want him to have some joy in avoiding the pain he has.

Please, is this true? If not, then I may wait overnight correct?

And if so, will they available the next day or so?

I really want to do this for my friend. =[

And thank you for helping. I am sure that Michael would give his thanks. =]

First of all, best wishes for your friend! =]

Getting the book midnight on Saturday is not necessary... you would probably only have fun if you're a hard core fan (of which I am). So, it's probably not worth it for you. As for where to get the book you might want to try..... ANYWHERE! haha. At this point almost every store has the books in stock. Try amazon, barnes and noble, borders... even some grocery stored have them!

Good luck and best wishes!

IDK if yall have a 24hr Walmart there but its usually the cheapest and if you be there like an hour before hand you should be ok I did that with the 4th book, and I was one of the first people in line to get the book. Talk about excited LoL. I am 21 now and I've loved Harry Potter books since it first came out in 1997. 10 years and still going strong!

As long as you get it done by noon today, you can still pre-order from Amazon and the book will arrive at your house on Saturday.

Yo dude. I am the fastest reader alive. Hit up my 360 page and as long as you are not a poser I will get him UTD by 530 EST. No ****, that is rough. Stay strong, bud.

forget borders...

Go to the nearest wal mart...

I went to wal mart when the last book came out..

I got there at like 1 in the morning... and bought one...

Wal mart ordered like 5,000 of them just for that one store...

there was more than enough to go around...

and since there is going to be 12 million copies... youll get it, i promise... just show up at about 3 or 4 am.. adn get one, then go home and go back to sleep...

Either get it from your loacal Walmart ((They always have copies and never seem to run out)) or pre-order it online. I THINK they're still taking orders. That way, you can have it shipped straight to your door.

Best wishes to your friend, I hope he gets better!
