Ask him. If in 4 years you can't discuss it with him, then marrying him is probably a bad idea.

If you suspect he's about to propose, then hang in there, and savour the moment.
If in two weeks, you still have no sign of a proposal, then you need to be able to talk to him and what your future holds for you.

I think it is better if you just don't know..it wouldn't be romantic if you knew when it will happen. Your reactions will seem rehearsed, the thrill would be lost. It's better if it comes as some sort of a surprise than an expected event.

there is really only one way just ask him how he feel about
marriage, then go from there. im sure after 4 years together
you should kind know him really with out asking the question.

i answer this question a lot because once in my life i really wanted to know the answer to this.......but this book was not written yet. but lucky you, now it is. go to the bookstore and buy " why men marry some women and not others." read every word. it is by john molloy. after you read it i guarantee you will know.
