In the world today, there are 41 major conflicts due to ethnic cleansing, sectarian violence, politial upheavals, revolutions. In all of these conflicts, 75% of the casualties are non-combatants--innocent women, children, and the elderly. I contribute my tears to those losses. The sanity of man has been severly diminished to obsessive greed, pride and arrogance. One tear in conjunction with that of several billion more could figuratively "flood" and "drown" the entire world--but many governments do not allow the freedom of expression. The one single note we should sing all together is: PEACE.

Well, in today's world a single drop of tear can't flood when I actually think it should. And the reason for this is that everyday there is the spilling of blood which should be creating a Tsunami but it never occurs because people are becoming more and more selfish! Others pain is invisible to our eyes as well as our hearts! Starvation is causing so many deaths and this should be causing an earthquake but yet again it doesn't!!!
Yet, take my words that a note can make the whole world sing! Music and the arts are the most powerful weapons as the saying goes: The pen is mightier than the sword. Well it is the same with music. Our united voice should ring a single note and that's the one of Compassion! We should be caring for one another and make this world a better place for all of our kinds + of course other living things! Alas, I don't hear that ringing in my ears; only an out of tune sound scattering the melodious peace and tranquility I dream of...A dream I'm not giving up on so soon!

I would doubt that a single drop of TEAR, would flood or drown the World, I would think if it came from a Giant, it might, but I doubt it. can a single note make the whole World sing, it depends if the World would be unanimous on the choice of note it is.

A single tear contains all pain, loss & sadness. If you could look into one tear--as in a crystal ball, you could see tears of all the world for all time. Currently, there are far too many tears in our world, & I believe that if things don't change, we "could" be drowned by the sorrow. (Read the beautiful poem, "For Whom the Bell Tolls.") In the same way, a "single note" could make the whole world sing. I think that more "notes" are needed, don't you? (Listen to Johann Bach's incredible, religious cantatas--Beethoven's Ode to Joy.) The spirit moves to joy & sadness, if we're not in a state of apathy. Beautiful question.

I just heard some very sad news and I think yes a single tear drop can drown my whole world for a bit . Problems that make you feel unconscious. Like drowning in a whirlpool. And no lifeguard in sight to help. Or that you can't be the lifeguard either. It doesn't take Noah's flood always. So it could happen. If it can happen to one it is "possible" to happen to all.
No a single note can't if they don't want too. But it doesn't hurt to try.

Yes, if it is planted with the right soul and sung from the right key, I think that drop of tear could make the whole world turn to cry a flood and stop all the pain by feeling pain itself.

Define world.... in this case I'll talk about mine :)
Some tears are rivers - some oceans. A single tear from some have the ability to wash away my good sense and reason. I'd do anything to arrest their flow. Others many tug at my heart, but sense and reason maintain intact.
Can a single note make my world sing? Yes *grins a bashful grin* I'm a sap that way. You should see me when I get a song! LOL

Certainly if the drop is the last drop to tilt the scale. As in the last straw that broke the camels back.

yes if the tear is from a person who is very loved by people
and a single note can make a whole world sing if they are satisfied with this note.......they will keep singing and singing
