Yep, and just as modest.

Assuming both of you have dominant 'good-looking' genes, then your baby will be 'good looking,' too (whatever that means).
But, you could both have recessive 'ugly' genes, then your baby could inherit that 'ugly' as a dominant trait (whatever that means).
Generally, people refer to traits in terms of specific body parts and personality quirks. In other words, people will say that baby has your eyes, perhaps, and your husband's height, maybe, or shape of face. Each of these specific things can be influenced by your husband's and your genetic make-up, though your personalities can, too, factor into your baby's personality.
What are good looks if you are 'ugly' inside?
I personally think that all babies are beautiful, and that you should stop stressing over this silly, superficial thing. You are both going to think your baby is the cutest baby there ever was, though you will both be wrong because nobody's babies could be cuter than mine. (Jeje.)
It might be hopeful for you to consider my progeny: the two them were lucky to inherit their father's height and fair hair, while they have my face and body shape. In other words, they inherited what we consider to be the best of both our traits. Of course, I am biased, but my point is that 'the survival of the fittest' works in your favor when procreating.
Hope this helps.

Probably. Looks don't usually skip a generation like many genetic traits do.
However, since intelligence is generally derived from the side of the mother, your baby may need an English tutor.

better check out the grandparents too as quite often features can jump a generation or too.. Any red heads in the family.
I'n not being nasty as I'm a redhead and my children aren't. So just do some family research if you are so concerned. Persoanlly I reckon it's best to wait for the baby to be born before thinking how beautiful it will be.......

lol, well that is nice to know. it really depends on the genes of both your families and how they combine. i have seen beautiful people with ugly kids, and ugly people with beautiful kids. either way it doesn't matter because when that baby comes you will love it and find it to be beautiful regardless of what it looks like. congrats on the lil one by the way!
