I'm moving into my first apt. I am furnishing my apt on a budget since this is my first one... ever, and i having been using craiglist to shop around. Does anyone no of any other good search engine claissifieds like that? Not a big fan of ebay

It's a great place to find items for free that others aren't using anymore.

I don't know of any good search engines but I do know that Ikea is extremely cheap but their stuff is practical and fashionable. Shopping on line is great but if you can find a store near you you should go! The store is amazing! There's rooms and rooms that you can walk into that are completely furnished with their stuff so you can see what it looks like when its all put together.

IKEA!!!!!!! Ikea is amazing- you can get really cheap, really good stuff there! Or try www.pricegrabber.com. It searches tons of different merchants (including all merchants who list stuff on amazon.com, and sites like that), and has a great tool for searching.
