First answer is spot on. I used a Coinstar years in the past whilst i became like 19 or so. i might propose wrapping the money in coin wrappers and taking that to the economic business enterprise. That way you keep each little thing.

You can call them whatever you want. I am not sure that there is a generic name. The company that puts most of these into grocery stores, etc., is Coinstar, Inc. It trades on the Nasdaq stock market as CSTR and is headquartered in Bellvue, WA.

I call them rip-offs because they charge 8 or 9 cents for every dollar they count for you. Some banks have free coin counters.
