butterfly fish question?

ok so i leave my fishtank light on and i notice he doesnt move much but just now that i turned it off he starts moving are they nocturnal what can i do for him to be more active during the day

also i bought dried shrimp will he eat that what about bloodworms and dried gammarus or should i still get crikets

give it time to settle in, try feeding it as you turn off lights. They don't move that much they hide and wait for food to come close then go after it, you will find as it settles in you'll see more of it but it'll be a few weeks before it starts venturing out, once it knows theres no problem getting food.
