Do you think it's better to cry sometimes or just brush it off & be strong! I think I mostly try to be strong, but if something hits me just right I will break down and cry! Am I a wimp or just human? Serious question.

I've had someone tell me I'm to old to have my feelings hurt. That's not true is it?

Are you really a big momma?

If so... I wouldn't worry too musch about it since you got the weight on your side. Seriously...and anyone who gets in the way just knock em across the floor and while your doin it you
can cry all you want .Show em whos boss here and that they'll think next time before they start that mouthin off.

If they say you too old crap...start to cry and slap em some more cause they ain't hurt too bad from the first slappin they got.

Ain't nothin like a good ole cryin release southern momma style.

Different people adopt different mechanisms to cope with uncomfortable and agonizing situations. Crying is a good coping mechanism as it releases a lot of pent up feelings and many a times leaves you feeling a lot lighter and better. It is perfectly human to have emotions and react to them appropriately.

Now, there is a better way of identifying what it is that bothers you. Is it the same person/ situation that makes you cry. If yes, then yes you need to find a solution. Simply giving away to tears or brushing it aside will not help solve the problem. Identify ways you can work around the problem and try to eliminate it, and if its something thats beyond your control, learn how to accept and deal with it. Its really hard to say anything more without knowing what kind of problems you are battling with.

You're never too old to have your feelings hurt. And there is nothing wrong with crying. Personally I break down at least once a year and cry all day. But I always feel a lot better afterwords. I think it releases some chemicals that you need to get rid of to feel better. I don't really see any reason to suppress it (not that I could, I'm a major weeper).

I doesn't hurt to have a good cry. Once you release all those emotions then you are able to think more clearly about the situation. You are not a wimp at all. Sometimes crying is the only way to deal with your feelings.

Of course not--to the "too old" rubbish.
Having feelings is what makes you human. It's those who hide their feelings and disconnect with them that end up being the psycho killers in this world.
Let the tears flow...but stop before you get a headache. I don't know what it is about crying, but it produces headaches!
Your husband could be in top form tomorrow. He might even apologize.

You are not a wimp. It is ok to cry and it is normal to get your feelings hurt no matter what your age is. I am 31 and my feelings still get hurt.

Everyone get their feelings hurt at times. it is how you handle it that can create problems.
What I find works for me is to 'journal'. In this way I get all my frustrations out and on paper and I don't ruminate about them.
Journaling is a great way to manage frustrations.
