Yes I got it TWICE last year in the 7th grade. It sucked, but the problem is, I have dandruff, so my head always itches. Then I have no way of knowing when I have those ugly little blood suckers.
How did I know I had it? I was going to get my hair dyed at the salon. They checked my head and said I had lice. Bad. So, I had to call my dad and ask him to pick up some lice shampoo. I was so frickin' pissed cuz I was planning on dying my hair and I had to wait to do it. And what really sucked is, once I realized I had it, I had a Hell of a time sleeping because they were EVERYWHERE.
But, they are gone now and I'm trying my best not to ever get them again.
Hope you two get rid of them =)

I had lice alot when I was growing up. Public school ya know. They seamed to love my hair. I visited my friend in Jail and got lice. He should be freekin out becuase they are so easy to ketch. The whole house needs to be cleaned. Everyone close need to be washed. Her head needs to be cleaned with Ride and combed out. Then I would wash her hair again. Go threw it with a fin toothed comb. After about a week you need to wash her hair again. Ride sells a spray you can spray her bed down and stuff with. That should do the trick.

I have never had it, but my sister did once. I have other family members that have also. It has to do with the type of hair you have. My sister and family members all have thick hair. Unfortunately, those that seem to have the cleanest head, get it most often. My family member kept hairspray on her hair all the time. She would still get it everytime. Lice loves clean hair. Even though it comes from dirty heads, it loves to infest clean people. It only takes one bug, because it lays 100's of eggs. Just because you end up with it, doesn't mean your dirty. It may originate from dirty, but it clings to clean. SORRY.

I got it when I was in my 30's when my step-daughter had it! I have thick long hair - it was just about the worst thing I've ever been through. I was freaked out over it. It took 3 treatments to get all the eggs out. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy!! Now my head is itching - lol

You mean like crabs. Yeah, my husband did something with someone one time when I was gone for 3 months when we fought and when I came back and did something there were little things called crabs on me and they called them lice.

Yes, as a child. I was taken to a beauty salon and they had a treatment for it that worked.
