Around here, we usually just say pop or coke. Some people use the term soda when referring to beer in a crowd as to not draw attention to their partying. Like....Wanna go have a soda with me after work? That kind of thing.

I say soda! Everyone I know says soda- I live up north! Occassionally I'll hear someone say "Want some pop?" and I'll be like "What the heck are they talking about?!" lol!
