I have many favorite artist from a variety of mediums (performance, musical, paint, sculpture, design, etc).
One of my favorites is Christo & Jeanne-Claude. They are known for many of their installation/environmental pieces. This is where they use the landscape as their canvas and drape large pieces of colorful canvas/fabric across the landscape for many miles. Absolutly outstanding and ORIGINAL, which is such a rarity!

I am a big Shep Fairey fan (Obey). He is a print maker. I believe his work is all silkscreened but it often has a linocut and litho look. He is the "Andre the Giant has a Posse" guy. His prints are industrialist & rock and roll propoganda all at once. He is a bloody genious. If we are talking classical art, I love Rafael. I also love Henry Horenstein's photography, particularly his "Honky Tonk" series.
