Laptops are allowed. Wireless is offered in some airports, sometime pay and sometimes free. Wireless on airplanes is not allowed. You will not have internet access on the plane, except some business class/first class might have some accomodation but it would be rare.

Probably not on the plane. They do not usually allow any wireless connectivity of any sort on the plane during flight. It can mess up the plane's communication systems. But check your airline to see what they allow.

Hi. Some airports have hot spots where you can access the internet. I doubt that this would apply to planes in flight.

Several airlines do have internet access on the plane, though I would assume only in first class. You could have an ethernet cable in your bag just in case if you wanted (there is no way it would be wireless).

No, it won't work on the plane, but in most major airports you can get online for a fee.

Online access usually costs in airports, their homepage when you connect should give you instructions, or look for a "WiFi" sign and ask someone.

Planes in the US do not currently carry WiFi, but may in the future.
