With psychics, as with most subjects on QA, people will answer with a lot of confidence, emphatically stating what is, and what isn't.
Believe them if you wish, or if someone says they're authentic, believe them.
The person who says they're authentic might be a fool. The person who says they're frauds might be a fool, or merely an opiniionated blusterer.
Name your poison and believe what you wish.

Psychics are either delusional or deceptive. The supposed psychic abilities are not real, but are tricks that people play on others to make money or become famous. There are some psychics who genuinely believe that what they feel is super-natural, but in this case, there is just one more person fooled by the act: the "psychic" themselves.
There is not a single "proven" or "reliable" psychic in the world that is recognized by any scientific organizations. The truth is that not most, but ALL who claim to be psychic are either lying or mistaken.
However, this does not mean that some of the methods used by these "psychics" cannot be useful. There are people who use cold-reading, and other similar psychic tricks who are up-front about what they are doing. It can be viewed as a sort of alternative psychotherapy.
People give off lots of cues that can be picked up on by perceptive people. A good psychic is an expert at reading body-language and basically a good psychiatrist. They look for hints in what people say to them from which they construct their answers. Some psychics just tell people things they want to hear, while some try harder to actually help their customer by delving into subconscious things that the person doesn't notice.
There is no such thing as supernatural Psychic powers, but the methods used by these psychics do have some helpful characteristics and can be employed in a genuine manner.
If you are looking for a psychic to help you with something, look for someone who admits up-front that nothing they are doing is supernatural, because these would be the individuals who are the most professional and intelligent, honest and fair.

The easiest way to understand “Psychic Power” is to think of your mind as a laptop computer with a wireless link to the internet, except there are no big computers out there, just a whole bunch of little laptops, all linked to each other.
Well, ‘all’ linked might be overstating a bit.
Some people don’t like to use the internet, or aren’t ‘online’. Some people have good transmitters and bad receivers or vice versa. And some people are just on different frequencies.
Still, every once in a while, most of us have moments when we tap into the ‘group’ mind. We sense someone is watching us. A person gives off a bad or good ‘vibe’. A mother senses her child is in trouble, or a wife suddenly knows, that half a world away, her husband has died.
The scientific measuring of psychic power is unlikely in the near future, because:
a) The actual power involved in a telepathic transmission would be very small and not in any conventional format.(i.e. AM/FM)
b) What’s being transmitted is usually emotions.
We’ve all been somewhere you can ‘feel the love the air’, or ‘cut the tension with a knife’ but how do you measure that? (Science is all about measuring things.)
Here’s the basics as I have come to understand them.
• Psychic ‘Power’ is a low grade telepathy in which emotions or emotionally charged sense data (e.g. a vision) is passed between human minds.
• It is a natural phenomena most people have experienced in some form.
• You can’t really ‘learn’ to use it any more than you can ‘learn’ to hear, you can only pay more attention to what you are hearing/sensing.
• A ‘gifted’ psychic can tell you how you feel. They can guess from your feelings what you might try to do. But they can’t actually ‘see’ the future.
• Extra Sensory Perception is not really a sense. It’s eavesdropping on the senses and feelings of those around you. Sensing fear does not mean there’s something to be afraid of, it just means someone around you is afraid.
• The psychic world is virtual. You can astrally project your ‘soul’ into someone’s image of Heaven, but not into an actual Heaven.
• A psychic connection is a weak link into other fallible minds. Think of it like your sense of smell, helpful, but certainly not the focus of your life.

There is a lot of information to be digested here.
When you say psycics, what on Earth are you referring to?
Do you mean psychics. I'll assume that you do.
A psychic is someone that has extraordinary mental abilities, along the lines of telepathy, psychokinesis, and being able to see the future(ESP).
I don't believe in telepathy(the ability to read a person's mind) or psychokinesis(the ability to move objects with your mind).
But seeing the future. I believe that is possible. Whether while astral travelling, or using the third eye, I believe it's possible. However, in order to do that, much research, practise and effort is required.

The same way anything works.Design and manufacturing.I do not believe anything as complex as life just by itself created itself with no guiding intelligence.Anything you use that is man made had an idea behind it and was developed and is probably still being improved upon. One something has been improved to perfection there is no more room for improvement.
