No. In the "close vote" the book speaks of in declaring the divinity of Christ, only two of about 300 church leaders opposed. Complete misrepresentation of facts for dramatic appeal... albeit a well-presented and interesting dramatization.

No. It is a work of fiction. Indiana Jones didn't find the Ark of the Covenant, Monty Python didn't find the Holy Grail, and The bones of Mary Magdalene aren't buried under the friggin' Louvre.

No one does, unless they wanted to ignore the author who said it wasn't true, but fiction based on unfounded legends and such....here than, Dan Brown says it isn't a real story about real things, so since he wrote the dang thing, that pretty much sums it up.

most of the stuff in there is Masonic, I am a Mason and knkow for a fact that the portions that were related to Masonry were complete fallacies. They sell that book in the fiction aisle for a reason..............its fiction (shhhh!)
