I feel for you, but it would be next to impossible to ac. As long as you do have somewhere to cool off(like a lunch room that has ac) if needed and plenty of cold water available the company is ok.

We don't but we are letting the workers start earlier to avoid the late day heat. I worked at 4 am two days last week my office was just too hot to think. We bought ice and bottled water for the workers and big thermometers so we could make sure they didn't get too hot in the tanks on ships. It was 97 last week so we let people work 3 or 5 am and get off early. The rest of the summer they will start at 6 instead of 7.

My husband works at a plastics factory where they are cooking plastics at very high tempratures all day (if you open the door of the oven the heat will singe your arm hairs). They have no A/C either. Tempratures get above 100s

my husband worked in a cookie factory that got on the ups of 100 degrees. and he worked in a carbon fiber factory that got up to 130 degrees. we live in texas, so with no ac, it's even hotter. the carbon fiber factory has five lines that run 24 hours a day, and each line has three ovens and three furnices. so it's super super hot in there.

I feel that asking about "a" piece of equipment a factory may have, may sound like your a little to picky. Myself I always added a note to my resume reading " I would like to set up an personal interview with you and I would like to view your establishment prior to our interview, as to see if my services will indeed benefit your enterprise, thus making our interview more productive and allowing more time to discuss my pay rate.
