how do i get my 2 day tropical fish tank clear?

i just started this tank and cant get it to clear 10 g tank with small tropical fish who keep diying

Most Aquariums will tell you to add the water and filter then run the filter for a week to a month; this allows the tank settle for a week to a month as the filter has to set up a microclimate. Then add fish 1 or 2 at a time and see how the water goes. Also feeding the fish plays a big part as well the best recommendation is to feed the fish every 2 to 3 days. (Helps a huge amount.)
Take a sample of your fish tank water to your local Aquarium store and get them to check it for ammonia, PH, hardness nitrate etc (or get the kits and do it at home) and tell them about the water clearness or lack of, the Staff at the fish shop will give advice how then to treat the water. Most times it usually requires a partial water change (25% to 50%) and the adding or reducing of water conditioner, water-ager etc.
I now have had tropical fish since 2003 and haven't had a problem being patient in the set up is a really big plus.

When setting up a new tank it most first be cycled before adding any fish unless you are using water from another established tank and a mature filter, the tank needs to run for about a week before adding any fish if it is a new set up or you may cause a bacterial bloom resulting in the loss of your fish, which is what your cloudy water could be. Add fish over a period of time so that you are not putting too much of a strain on your tank and filter. To help clear the water do daily water changes of no more than 10%, when your tank has cleared do a once a week water change of 25%.

As long as it's cycling it pretty much stays cloudy for about 1-2 weeks sometimes

If you follow the directions in the link, you're going to be fine
When you introduce new fish to your tank it's very important that you acclimate them before you do so, put the bag with the fish on the watersurface for at least 30 minutes, that way your fish can acclimate to the new watertemperature

Also check your ammonia levels, nitrite levels and ph levels, these are the main reasons for fishes dying, cause usually at least one of them is off the chart

you don't have to wait a month to do anything with a fish tank... i have owned upwards of 10+ tanks at a time.... the main thing is to only add about 1 or 2 fish at a time to your tank and then wait a few days before doing the same thing again.... as for the cloudiness it is the beneficial bacteria that is trying to set up in your tank.... it could take a few days to a week or so....don't waste ur money on those tank cleaners they suck....

Did you rinse the gravel? if not remove fish rinse it and set up tank again. make sure you use a chlorine remover on the water. If your using carbon in the filter and forgot to rinse that it could make water cloudy would not hurt fish.
