As a giants fan, I constantly bang my head against the wall because of the fact that we are paying "superstar" Barry Zito $18 million dollars a year for a 4.90 ERA, while relative unknowns Noah Lowry, Matt Cain, and Matt Morris each have an ERA close to 3.50 and don't get paid nearly that much. Is there a way to find out how much the "everyday" (i.e. consistent) players get paid?

Yes. There are two ways I know of where you can acquire accurate baseball player salary information.

One is where you can get single player information. On ESPN's website if you look up a players stats in the info section it will have the current year's salary to be made by that player.

The second is the link below. You can enter a whole team or single player. If you want to know the salary of all the player's on your favorite team you can use this site to look at how the team's salary is broken down as being paid to each player.

I went to Windows Live Search, typed in Noah Lowry Salaray, and got 1,365,000. The info seemed to come from ESPN mlb player profile.

Go to this site, search for the player you are interested in, and then page down to the bottom. Salaries for most players are in there.
