Give them a quick rinse to get rid of the salt before your put them in the compost pile. A little salt won't matter, but a lot will. If you rinse them off, no microorganisms or plants will be hurt.

Yes I do. I also like boiled peanuts in the shell. Never had them until I moved down south but they are awesome!!!

Pistachio nuts salted in their shells are the best ever, they taste great and make me think of my Dad, so the memory makes the nut taste even better!

They are tasty and fun. Plus, having to take each one out of it's shell keeps me from shoving too many in my face and gaining 300 pounds.
