All you need is LOVE is a cliché that went out when John Lennon was shot and killed. Love is one of the most important things in ANY relationship, but other small factors most be added in and without all of them then a marriage is doomed to fail.
You have to be on the same page sexually as your spouse, because if you are not it can cause to added stress and destroy the other's ego and drive, and if it lasts long enough it'll destroy yours as well, and people wonder why one spouse has an affair -- if they are not feeling loved &/OR not getting any they WILL eventually stray. It's the 21st century not the 1800s where you stayed with the one you married cause you both usually died by the time you were 45-50.
Another small factor is finances. If one is paying the majority of the bills, OR one cares about the finances and the other doesn't, OR one wants to plan for retirement and the spose could care less (yet they hint differently). Bills and finances can destroy any marriage.
I believe that mental or emotional incompatability (or as the Hollywood idiots would say Irreconsiable differences) it the main cause of any marriage, then comes sexual incompatibility, and then financial incompatibility.

Love and hate matters-there's got to be a balance otherwise people would get robbed, stores would get broken into, anything. So Love is good but it blinds you to the ways of mankind. Keep your guard up.
