I noticed in life, usually around young kids and elders, when a song by "The Who" came on (it was my opportunity to screw with someones head!) and I would say
"Do you know who plays that?" And they would say "who?"
And I would say "the who." And they would say "Who?"
And I would say "the who." And they would say "yeah, who?"
And I would say "the who."
And they would say "if your not going to tell me who, then forget it." Thinking I was messing wit them, and them getting aggrevated, I would say, "The name of the band IS "The Who!"
Then they would say "Are you serious? Why would they name it that!?" And I would say with a smile "So I could mess wit ya!" Then they would think I was messing wit them, and not believe me anyway...ha. ha.
