Malaki is a poor choice though he is better than Chalabi. Not to mention he is closely aligned with Al-Sadr. I do not think he will last too much longer. Plus he (and the majority of the Iraqi's) are resistant to the Bush administrations idea of privatizing Iraqi oil.
