My wife bought an item on line, the store's computer had a virus on it that sent out the credit card numbers to other computers...

you should always look for the site address to start wit https:// then it is secure.and many web sites now use pay pal I suggest you get an account with them for free and use it when possible.they will reinvearse you up to $2000.00 for stolen info purchases.not bad from a free to use service.I have been with pay pal for years and have never had any trouble.
