What's the best eyeliner color?

I like to alternate different colors... mainly black, brown, blue, and gray. However, occassionally I'll use purple, green, or other random colors.

1] if hair is medium brown or darker, use black-brown or black eyeliner or mascara for a natural look.
If hair is lighter than medium brown, use expresso or black-brown.
2] to make eyes 'pop' [ hate that word - popped eyes would be painful, and disgusting ] pick a color that contrasts with eye color.
green eyes - blues, purples, grays, browns
blue - greens, purples, grays, browns
hazel - greens, blues, purples, grays, darker browns
brown - grees, blues, purples, grays
3] also pick a shade of your eye color that contrasts with your shade. Example - baby blue eyes - navy blue liner.
4] some 'special' colors are also good for accents, or on inside corners to make you look more awake - ivory or gold, and white or silver.

Black works on everybody and it makes your eyes look so much bigger and it pops so its dramatic. If you want like brown and blonde they give you more of a natural look. Eyeliner really depends on your haircolor and if you want it to pop or not and if you want a natural or yeah.. I prefer black though. If your a blonde you could use brown but it'll give you more of a natural look and you don't notice it all that much. In addition brown eyeliner dosen't make your eyes pop that much but it still does.

well, i am guessing your eye color is blue because of your avatar? so i would say to use a bright blue cream eyeliner, or black. sometimes even a green looks pretty, it all depends on your mood or your outfit. :P

it depends on the color of your eyes and maybe even the color of your skin.These are some good colors:
black,pink,blue,purple.
Try to use a dark and light blue. A hot pink. Medium dark purple. And black is just black.

it really depends on your skin tone and hair color. i personally try to match the hair color, or black always looks good. just dont go too drastic- make it noticeable, but not too noticable

it's really depend on your eye and the color. like for example, i have blue eye. i use black, brown, and blue. i use black to go out/events and i use blue for casual.
