I'm 12 and going to the 7th grade, but no one would believe i was. I'm short, I couldn't care less for boys or clothes or makeup whatsoever. I make *creatures*, doll-like things that I playwith, pretend games. I don't know what i'll do in middles school, what should i do? show my new friends the creatures, pretend they don't exist?

Well, i wouldn't bring them to school, but i don't want to hide them every time we get together.

trying to fit in with others and changing yourself is a not a way to go if you're thinking about it. just be yourself. i would show off my incredible art if i made any....which i can't so i envy you lol

no offense but if u did that in our middle school, youd be considered a creep. not that i think of u that way. i guess just be yourself and if that doesnt work out then just try to change a bit so u can make some friends. starting middle school can be stressful and sometimes [most of the time] change is good and it will do u good in return. if u want my opinion, i say give up the "creature" [doll] making habit and find another hobby like playing a sport or playing an instrument. i changed alot when i was in middle school. and i made manyyyyyy friends.

Unless you want to be the laughing stalk of the school, you might want to leave your creatures at home.
The middle school trasnsition is always difficult. It's a time of a lot of change for many girls. You will find your own way in the world...just be patient.

Okay so, the best thing you can do is be yourself. Sure! Show them your creatures! You may meet someone that also makes little creatures! Who cares what other people think!!! All you can do is try!

I would pretend they don't exist until you get to know someone realllyyyyy well and think they won't care. Also try doing some more normal things for people your age. Like listen to music, watch MTV, go to the mall. Just try! If you don't like them it's ok, but if you do like them it might make your life easier.

Pretend they don't exist or other kids will make fun of you for still playing with dolls. It's okay to have a hobby making and painting them, but if you admit to playing with them, expect repercussions.

don't worry. i'll find a friend that'll accept who you are. when i started middle school... i wasn't exactly what they wanted me to be. but i found friends in good time[=

just go to school and be open with people you may find someone who has similar interests
