No you should not drink condensate. The evaporator coils are not food grade. There are probably parts in there that have high levels of lead and other heavy metals. The fluxes from the brazing of the connections are not safe to ingest either.
The drain pan itself may also have a product like Microban in the plastic to help retard microbial growth. You don't want to drink water that has contacted plastic containing Microban.

YES....
That water is condensation when the warm, filthy air inside your home is drawn into the AC and contacts the cold, dirty condenser. It then is collected in a shallow, mold-crusted pan inside your AC before draining into an open, bug and critter accessible, pipe which runs outside.
You would be an idiot to drink something like that.
Have a beer instead...

This is a trick question. water does not drip from a condenser, it drips from the evaporator. Much of this water is the moisture from your breath and sweat, if you don't mind this plus the other factors that are noted before, bottoms up!

well it is definitely not clean water, and has run over a dirty condenser, and down thru the drip pan which could have mold spores growing in them..it is just condensation that is dripping from the coils but not a source for ingestion

Probably not but I wouldn't risk it. It is condensation, moisture from the air. So if there were any bugs, or they used a lead solder on the interal parts, it could be contaminated. You could use it to water plants.

Ever hear of legionnaire's disease? That is a bacteria living in the condensate water. Don't drink it. Those people died.

It is condensed water that came out of the air. I guess if the air is clean, that would be.... Kind of a strange question.

It will have some metal contamination and dirt. Perhaps some paint and lubrication materials.
