I am tired of these ridiculous questions and statements from many republicans stating Democrats hate Soldiers. Show some proof.
You haven't seen ONE story from ANY legitimate media, or Faux News, that shows Soldiers being booed, jeered, or spat upon when they came back from their tour. You have seen family celebrations, and when Soldiers gave their lives for this country, they were brought back to America and buried as they should as HEROES.
Now show something, or be quiet...

You bring up something that occurred almost 30 years ago? That's all you got? So that means bush is using alcohol and doing cocaine in the White House since he did it 30 years ago, or is your correlation only for the Democratic Party.
Next rhetoric...

Speakeasy,
When's the last time you saw someone spit on a soldier? Really see it, not just hillucinate it? And if you did, and it was in the last 30 years and not in some Viet Nam file footage, did they have a big "Democrat" button on their chest so you could tell?
You just dug the hole deeper. You don't know what the hell you're talking about. You just confirmed that your only evidence is the biases in your own mind. Thanks for answering the question and proving the point of it!

It is amazing how easily their brains are controlled. They have no evidence or examples, and they do not care. As a group they are full of false bravado, but they are pathetic cowards individually.
I remember seeing video footage of Hitler when I was young and wondering, “how could anyone take that little Gomer with the funny hair and stupid mustache seriously”? Now I know, but it is still hard to believe. It was hard to understand why they rolled over faster than a $2.00 hooker to give up their Constitutional rights.
Then I realized that they really didn’t care about their rights as long as they got to see every other American lose theirs. It carries over to their religion also. They do not anticipate the Rapture so they can be near their God. They look forward to it because the thought of watching all non-believers suffer gives them a kind of sexual excitement.
The only difference between them and their radical Islamic cousins is that the rule of law stands in their way. That is the reason behind their constant assault on the US Constitution. They want to destroy America’s secular democratic republic and replace it with a quasi-theocratic fascist government based on the humanity-hating doctrine of their sadistic God.

The far right agenda of spreading lies like Bush did in 2004 to scare the American public if you vote for Democrats terrorism will win. Did not work in 2006 . Democrats do not hate soldiers they want them to come home and end the war that is killing young men and women.

The ignorant don't rely on facts but prefer emotional outbursts or Rants (that's why we call them ig-no-RANTS) to try and replace logic and rational thinking which they aren't very good at, with emotionalism, which they are pretty good at. I mean, it's pretty easy to shout at someone and use a lot of canned sayings. They got away with it when the USA was in emotional shock after 9/11, but it's not holding any water now.
P.S. If ANYBODY, conservative, liberal, NeoCon, Republican, Democrat or Independent really cares about our troops, they would work to bring them home from this senseless war. We should NEVER ask our soldiers to sacrifice their lives to enrich oil companies and corporations that are making billions upon billions in Iraq through no-bid contracts.

I've never seen http://wonkette.com/ until 20 min ago but it seems heavily leftist, or just plain bad. I was reading an article there that said "U.S. Military Overwhelmingly Supports ... Ron Paul"
Surprisingly, they seem to think active-duty military and veterans are libtards or that libtards hang around them, I dunno, I'm confused (and it's not me saying anyone is a libtard). The comment that stands out from a vet, I am in full agreement with.
""[Wonkette about RP]Anti-war constitution-loving weirdo" As an honorably discharged disabled vet, I find that statement kind of well...it trivializes my support of the constitution. While I don't agree with some of Ron's positions, his idea that the blow back from our presence in the middle east does warrant some merit. I was stationed in Iraq for much of the war and I can tell you with a straight face that our foreign policy needs to change.
What we "thought" we went over there for is not why we are there now. We are barely keeping the lid in a huge powder keg. I just don't see how removing out troops will cause MORE casualties...if they have no one to concentrate their hatred on, they will direct it at themselves and not us."

Republicans are the ones sending our soldiers to their death. If you love them so much, why are you needlessly killing them?.....can't wait for a democratic president to take over and put things right.

We're trying to get them out of the middle of a civil war that was sparked by a Republican administration's failure to understand what the inevitable results of their actions would be if they invaded Iraq. If we really hated them, we'd want to leave them there like Conservatives want to do.

They can't show any proof, because it's not true. Just like they can't provide any proof to substantiate the rumor that soldiers were spit on after the Vietnam conflict.
