I have a 350 5.7 in my truck (1994 chev ext cab 4x4) now, and its pretty much toast....i have a motor and tranny from a 1992 chev van lined up on tade for a motorbike i got for free. will it fit and/or what do i need to check to see if it will fit?

As long you just use the block and heads. Reuse everything from your truck and everything should work OK.

it will fit it, any Chevy small block engine will fit in it,good thing about Chevy everything interchanges on them,and to some peoples surprise there's no difference in 2 wheel drive engines and a 4 wheel drive engines,their the same,i was asked this once,any small block Chevy engine will fit in that truck,good luck hope this helps.

you didn't say, but if the motor and tranny are also 350CI, and they are close in years, yes, it should go right in. BUT, there are a lot of variations between years as to how things bolt in and wire in etc. So, if it isn't close in years, I'd do some serious looking and measuring first.
