Griffery should easily make it to 700. Say he ends the year with 600 HR. He turns 38 before next season. He has two more productive years of 30-35 hrs and then only needs two more subpar years 20 or so homers to reach 700. Especially with playing home games in Cincy, Griffey should do unless he has some serious injury problems. Even with minor injuries, he could be moved to the AL to prolong his career and make 700.

It would be great to see because Griffey is such a good guy but it might be too much of a stretch. I believe he will run out of health and years before he can get there. Maybe somewhere between 640 and 670 would be a more reasonable goal.

ken griffey jr is the best heads ups base ball player, i feel in mordern time . he would be at the level as far as hrs as barry bonds without the alligations wrong doings! without saying. he"s sacrified his body ,heads up playing sacrificing his body too make a play every game he plays not concerned about injury , theres no smut about stiroids , bad press of any type , a real roll model!! the best ball player, roll model, low keyed , personable , pleasent person from what ive seen from our tv,s sport channels perspective, and a littte in sight from a former ball player i know personably ,perspective darrel miller ca angles ex talent scout!

He is a great player, I am watching the Reds at Braves game now, and after he belted the three run homer i was impressed, i think he has a good chance if he stays healthy.

well idk because he hurt himself too much. if he didnt hurt himself so much than he would be the one breaking the record... not barry bonds. And the only one whos gonna come close to breaking barry's record is alex rodriguez. hes had many homeruns and hes in his 20's. ken griffey should have like 900 by now if he didnt hurt himself so much... he missed like 1000 games or like 500
