There are many, many theories as to the possible whereabouts of Atlantis....
I still think that there is a connection with the Bermuda Triangle and the lost city of Atlantis...

There are a number of different ideas about where Atlantis was. Personally, I don't think it would have been Atlantis if it weren't in the Atlantic. Plato, in his writings, said it was beyond the Pillars of Hercules (Straits of Gibraltar).

Just to round things out---Atlantis might have disappeared via the subduction of a crustal plate of the Earth. An argument as valid as any of the others.

i heard that Atlantis might not have even been real but if you look at the map of santorini a piece of the island did really sink into the sea which may or may not have been Atlantis

somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, thousands and thousands of miles underwater.

That is why it is referred to as, "the Lost City of Atlantis".

If you really want to know more about it, i recommend Edgar Cayce's books on the subject, but that is just me.

That is a very debatable question. The fact is that no one really knows for sure. There have been many claims of people having "found" it but all have been proven false. I think we will find it someday when it is the right time. The only thing we know for sure is that it is buried underwater.

I can´t tell you exactly, but some people who live in the Spanish community, Las Canarias, believe to live on the mountain tips of the lost city after it skank.
