Do you know that poem, the one that goes

First them came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

That's not it exactly, but it goes on like that. The american people are like that, until their toes are stepped on, they prefer to live their lives without making the effort to be aware. They are numb to the infringements on their liberties.

They will continue like this until the someone comes for them, and they have no reason to expect anyone to speak out for them as they didn't speak out for others.

The Price of Freedom is constant vigilance, and we're too busy watching baywatch reruns, to notice our slowly ebbing rights.

We have become a self-centered society always looking at what is best for "me, my 4 and no more..." Alot of people don't realize that there are people that are giving their lives daily for our freedom..But if it was "one of their own" they'd be pissed that nobody is thankful for what our Soldiers are doing. I for 1 am so thankful and give God thanks daily for my freedom...Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, in general, Freedom to be happy if I so choose... But I'm with you on this one..I don't get it either. They wont be thankful until it gets stripped away from them. Even then they wont be thankful just bitter. But some people you just can't change, sad as it may be. But I am free, and thankful for it!!!

Why are you so angry? Freedom is not wasted here. Why are you yelling? Where are you? Why do you need to constrain yourself? Do you need a personal relationship with Jesus?
