In the Republican universe, charity is an appropriate thing for wives and daughters to do. Men should be making money, making war, or both. Any man who's involved in helping the poor must be what Arnold calls a "Girlymahn."

Edwards has began and run the Southern Poverty regulation middle. he's a tireless recommend for the destructive and dealing classification. He became in 2004. In his regulation occupation he fought for the little guy. study a number of his books or wikipedia him in case you do not have time.

because he is so easily mocked....
when the words you speak don't match your actions..or you "work for a cause"...and expect rewards for your effort ...well...it really isn't something to be proud of ...is it?
edwards is running for office...and creating the illusion he actually cares about people...a false display put on for cameras...and the lowest form of campaigning... the equivalent of
"a chicken in every pot"...without thought of who is gonna' pay for that chicken ...
it's easy to be charitable with someone else's money...

Nobody is mocking Edwards for helping the poor. He is being mocked for acting like he cares about the poor (or anyone other than John Edwards for that matter).

Because Edwards poor tour is about as logical as starting a group called "Christians against Christ". Not talking bad about what he's attempting to do. It's just kind of ridiculous when you think about it.

Ask the needy folks in the mobile home park right across the street from Edward's residence about his "helping the poor".

We like to mock hypocrisy, especially when it is done with an obvious political agenda.
Why won't liberals praise Cheney for the millions he has given to charity since he has been in office. He signed over all his stock options to several companies, including halliburton, when he agreed to run with Bush.

I think he mocks himself as he sits in his 30,000 square foot house across the street from a trailer park.
